| John R. Evanoff, Esquire Began study of martial arts later in life, at age of 38. 2005 and 2006 PA state champion in fighting. Accomplishment of which most proud is that wife (Suzanne), daughter (Alexa), and son (Anthony) study karate with Master Barton and enjoy competition. Pleased with carryover of martial arts into other aspects of children’s lives: school for both, competitive cheer for Alexa, and club soccer for Anthony. Fascinated with application of martial arts in legal field. Graduate of University of Pittsburgh School of Law and have specialized in family law since beginning career in 1991. Partner at firm of Carney & Good. Chairperson of Family Law Section of Erie County in 2008 and 2009. Appointed by past two presidents of the Pennsylvania Bar Association to serve on the Outreach to Children taskforce. Spoke to American Inn of Courts about utilization of karate techniques to more effectively manage stress as a lawyer. |
